What is an Escape Room?

An escape room is a physical adventure game in which players are locked in a room and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles and escape within a set time limit. The games are physical versions of “escape the room” video games. Games are set in a variety of fictional locations, such as prison cells, dungeons and space stations, and are popular as team building exercises.

How do I sign up?

You will create a team with a maximum of 7 other people (maximum number of team members is 8 total) and sign up for a time slot using the form below, and each team member will pay a $18 registration fee. Online time slot reservations are not yet open.

To reiterate: That is $18 PER PERSON. You will then elect a “Team Captain”, who we will text a confirmation message to, reiterating the day and time of your team’s scheduled run.

Note: Teams are not required to have 8 members. Teams with less than 8 can still run the room. However The Escape Room requires a minimum of 4 (four) team members, if you register for the Escape Room with less than 4 you WILL have additional players added to your team, teams with less than 7 (seven) may also be subject to receiving additional team members . If you have a team of at least 4 members and you wish to have the room to yourself, we ask that you purchase all remaining team spots because the Escape Room is best experienced with a full team of 8 (eight).

I’ve signed up, now what?

You are going to show up to your given time slot 30 minutes beforehand. This will give you ample time to make sure your entire team has made it, and then give us enough time to make sure you guys know all the rules. PLEASE NOTE: If any members do not show up at least 15 minutes beforehand, THEY CANNOT RUN. We need time to go over the rules with each team in depth to ensure everyone has not only a fun time, but a safe time as well.

There are no slots left!

No slots left or missed signing up, stop on by the Escape Room check-in table. You can see if there are any available spots during the event weekend, or you can sit outside the Escape Room (there is an area set aside) and wait to see if any team members do not show, and you can take their spot. If you sign up at the Escape Room check-in table, you will need to pay the $18 entry fee to replace a no show or empty slot.

NOTE: All rules, rights, agreements, and disclaimers apply whether by booking a reservation online or at the Escape Room event.

Tekko reserves the right to take photographs, videos, or recordings during the operation of the Escape Room or part thereof and to use the resulting photographs, videos, or recordings in whole or in part for promotional purposes, including, but not limited to: advertising and publicity both in print and electronic media. By booking a reservation with Tekko’s Escape Room event, participants agree to allow their images to be used in such photography; participants who prefer that their image not be used are asked to identify themselves to the Escape Room staff prior to entry into the Escape Room Event. We also reserve the right to use, in all or in part, any written reviews you may provide to us in our advertising and publicity both in print and electronic media.
