Unlimited Bag Check – $10

Save time and money by purchasing our Unlimited Bag Check option! Without the Unlimited Bag Check add-on, you will be charged $5 each time you need to place more items in the bin. Hurry, the price will increase to $12 at show!

What if I need a refund?

Unfortunately, Tekko has a no refund policy for all badge purchases and all sales are final.  However, if you are unable to attend Tekko due to unforeseen circumstances, you can transfer your badge to someone else up to a week prior to the show starting. Please contact registration@pittjcs.org for details on how to transfer a badge.

Are single day badges available?

Tekko currently does not offer single day badges for Friday or Saturday. Sunday Only badges
are available for purchase at the door on Sunday for $30.

Can I purchase a Premium or Rock Star Badge at the door?

Premium and Rockstar badges are expected to sell out during pre-registration. The number of these badge types is limited due to the exclusive perks that are offered with them, so we recommend that you pre-register if you would like a VIP Badge. General badges will be available for purchase at the door for $50.

All badge perks are subject to change at the Pittsburgh Japanese Culture Society’s discretion.

Can I buy Tekko Merchandise Items separately?

Most merch items can be purchased at our Merch booth at Tekko, but we suggest you pre-order to make sure you get the correct size! Any merch items that will be available for pre-order only will have this listed in their description. Please see the descriptions of each item under the “Registration Add-Ons” section above for these details.

Can I register more than one individual at a time?

Yes! We have partnered with EventForge to provide a streamlined pre-registration experience for our attendees. You may purchase up to 10 tickets per transaction. If you are representing a group or organization of more than 10 people interested in attending Tekko, check out the details about Group Registration below.

If I purchased a badge but now cannot attend, can I transfer my badge to someone else?

Yes! If you already purchased a badge but are now unable to attend Tekko due to unforeseen circumstances, you can transfer your badge to someone else up to a week prior to the show starting. Please contact registration@pittjcs.org for details on how to transfer a badge.

Will my badge be mailed to me?

Tekko does not currently offer the option to receive your badge in the mail. Rockstar and Premium badge holders have access to separate, shorter registration lines for a faster badge pick-up experience.

What should I bring to Tekko in order to pick up my badge?

All you need to bring with you to Tekko to pick up your badge is your confirmation email! After you pre-register, you will receive a confirmation email with a QR code which will let our registration staff look up your information when you arrive. You can bring the email on your phone or print it out. 

If you are planning on attending any 18+ content at Tekko, remember to bring your photo ID as well.

What if I have a question that was not answered here?

Please reach out to us at registration@pittjcs.org for any additional questions related to Tekko Registration and we would be happy to assist you. We receive a high volume of emails (especially right before the event), so please be patient if we take a couple of days to get back to you.

Why should we register as a group?

First, because of the added convenience at the preregistration pickup counter one representative will be able to pick up all of the badges for your organization.  Second, because it’s cheaper!

When does Group Registration Close?

All applications must be submitted by 11:59 PM on April 1 through the form on our website and payment must be received by April 10.

How do we register our group?

Step 1: Please download and fill out this Excel sheet with the information for each member of your group.

Step 2: Fill out the Tekko Group Registration form and upload the Excel sheet.

Step 3: Send check payment to the provided address AFTER receiving confirmation from the Tekko Sales Director.

How much cheaper is Group Registration?

Each ticket is $40, a full $10 off the At Door Rate.

Does my group qualify for the special rate?

Your group must have (10) ten or more members and must be an actual group or organization.  Examples of acceptable groups are High School or College Anime (or other) clubs, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, etc.. All Group Applications are assessed on a case by case basis by the Sales Director.

There’s no Credit Card option below how do we pay?

You must pay via check for all group registrations.  Checks should be made out to “Pittsburgh JCS INC.” and mailed to Tekko Group Registration PO BOX 15187 Pittsburgh, PA 15237

Should I mail my check now?

No, please mail your check once you receive notice stating that your group registration application has been accepted and directing you to mail your check.  Registrations are not final until payment is received and processed.

What happens if my check bounces?

Your registration will be voided and you will be assessed a $30 fee in addition to any bank fees incurred.

How will I know that you have received our check?

We will e-mail you silly!
